Ooh. I've noticed my kids do much better during art time if we're all working towards a common goal (say a stack of Christmas cards) as opposed to, "this is my finished project'. Makes perfect sense. B. and I have been doing a lot of collaborations this fall and it's so strange to not have control of a piece but also to not have to be 'responsible' for if it's 'good' or 'bad'.

The zombie play was fabulous. Reminded me all that is good about theater.
